Include a little extra for a new sign!
Please help us replace all the street signs in Whispering Hills with larger and night reflective signs per the request of the Moss Lake Fire Department. Each sign will cost $25. If you would like to sponsor a sign, please include it with your Annual Dues check.

Why pay on time?
The seven members that make up the Board of Directors for Whispering Hills needs to be able to set the budget for the current year. Until they know how much they have to work with, little can be done. Everyone's participation and prompt payment is appreciated.

Where does the money go?
The dues that you pay each year are used to maintain the private roads in Whispering Hills, well almost all the funds ... some of the money goes toward office expenses (postage/copies/envelopes), occasionally the bridge needs work, sometimes there are drainage problems to fix, or maybe we need a sign or two, but we don't spend money on frivolous parties, swanky club houses and racquetball courts.

The printing for the phone directory is paid for with local advertising dollars. So, as you can see, the dollars you send to the association directly benefit your property. Without good roads, you wouldn't be able to access your property and you can imagine what that would do to the value of your investment.

In the summer of 2002, the Association elected to asphalt 2.2 miles of roads ... to do this we asked for additional funds including some loans from members. The loans are on a schedule to be paid back in 5-6 years, at prime + 2 percent. Because of the generosity of a few association members making loans and most members putting in the extra requested funds, we now have hard top roads on the most of the roads. We hope, when the loans have been paid back, that we can complete the remaining roads that are still gravel. That is why it is important for everyone to pay their dues on time, each year.

The Election for a Dues Increase

Passed at the meeting in October by unanimous decision.

The "extra" money will go towards debt reduction for loans made by members to get the paving done in 2002 and also road maintenance and improvements.

Thank you to all who voted.
